The Streamlight PolyTac 90 is contained in a tough, impact-tested, waterproof nylon polymer housing. It also features two additional modes. To enter strobe mode, you’ll have to double-tap the switch, or you can triple-tap to access low-power mode. These instructions are conveniently engraved around the power switch, in case you need a reminder or lend someone the light. We liked the folding carabiner, but the stiff metal pocket clip lacks flexibility. This makes it difficult to attach the light to clothing — but once it is, it’s not going to budge.
