Description
The F1 is the little brother to the F1R we tested back in Issue 10, and it runs on a single CR123 instead of the F1R’s larger 18650 battery. The F1 offers strong 400-lumen output and fits in the palm of your hand, so it’s great for everyday carry (EDC). It also includes an optional pocket clip and glass-breaking bezel. However, it’ll burn through its single battery in 3.5 hours at full brightness. It’s also roughly the same price as other models of comparable quality, but offers fewer features.
Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Intuitive to use
Cons: Surprisingly short run time on full mode, We expected more bang for the buck.
