Description
The R50 Seeker packs a serious 2,500-lumen punch. That’s more than double the output of its predecessor, the R40, and far more than the other lights we tested. The body diameter and texture make it easy to hold, and the power switch placement feels natural. The included 26650 lithium battery is rechargeable via USB, but in a survival situation you’d probably be hard-pressed to find a spare. The light rolls easily on flat surfaces, and it lacks a belt clip or holster. Still, it’s a lot of power in a pocket-sized light.
Pros: Blinding 2,500-lumen output, Great ergonomics
Cons: Tends to roll on flat surfaces, Uncommon battery type
