New: Kershaw Vedder Folding Knife

The Latest Affordable Flipper from Kershaw Features a Matte Grey Steel Handle with Black G10 Overlays

If you're looking for an every-day-carry knife that won't break the bank, Kershaw has quite a few appealing options to consider. There's the classic Leek, the compact Scallion, and even the Emerson-designed CQC series for self-defense purposes. The company has recently added a new folding blade to the lineup — it's known as the Kershaw Vedder.

The Vedder features a 3.25-inch 8Cr13MoV stainless blade. This is the same affordable and easy-to-sharpen steel used in many other Kershaw offerings, including the new Hops, Eris, and Rick-Hinderer-designed Agile. The blade is a modified sheepsfoot shape, and flips open quickly thanks to Kershaw's SpeedSafe assisted-opening mechanism.

The Kershaw Vedder's handle is made up of several components. The steel handle is coated in a matte grey titanium-carbo-nitride finish, and includes a frame lock. It also offers a black backspacer with a lanyard loop. The handle is finished with textured black G10 scales for added grip, and a reversible deep-carry pocket clip.

Kershaw's new Vedder knife is available now at an MSRP of $60. For more info, go to KershawKnives.com.
