Description

This small light runs on four AG13 button-cell batteries. These offer a decent runtime of five hours, although the alkaline batteries will cause the light to gradually dim down to 1 lumen over that time period. However, the anodized aluminum body feels durable, and the twist-on bezel won’t turn on accidentally in your pocket. The “L” in K2L indicates a clear Magic Light Ring on the head that illuminates when the light turns on — it looks nice, but doesn’t produce enough light to work as a mini-lantern. The K2L is decent and affordable, but doesn’t strike us as particularly outstanding in any way.

Pros: Tough aluminum construction

Cons: Somewhat short run time, Clear luminous ring is mostly decorative
