The Key-Mate may not produce an overwhelming amount of light, at only 10 lumens, but it will run for an impressive 96 hours. Also, the nicely-focused beam pattern makes the most of these lumens; they seem brighter than some higher-output competitors. Confusingly, this light is marketed as a “titanium” Key-Mate, but that’s only the name of the bare metal finish. It’s constructed from aluminum, not titanium. We appreciate the inclusion of three retention options; a carabiner keyring, pocket clip, and neck lanyard. The pocket clip is useful and strong enough to retain your keyring if necessary. Overall, it’s a versatile little light.
