On top of a medium mode that balances battery life with brightness, the Preon P2 has four special lighting modes, including Strobe, SOS, Beacon Hi, and Beacon Lo. Its Type III hard-anodized aluminum housing is fitted with optical grade, anti-reflective glass.

Pros: Solid build with a ton of features. High-quality LED emitter produces a nice even light.

Cons: Activating the special lighting modes requires an awful lot of clicking of the tail cap
