Packed with cutting edge badassery, these boots feature Gore-Tex Surround technology to keep your feet dry and happy – moisture and heat travel down through a Gore-Tex laminate into a spacer and out of the shoe through side vents. True to Salewa’s climbing heritage, the boots have lacing starting all the way at the toe with a lot of eyelets so that you can achieve a proper snug fit. The OrthoLite foam padding conforms to your foot, while the shank and midsole provide a good balance of support and flexibility. The grippy outsole is great for aggressive hiking. Salewa has another winner here vying for the One Boot To Rule Them All award, in particular for warmer climates – but it’s not cheap, so crack open your piggy bank.
