Reiff Knives has been very busy this year, releasing updated versions of their existing line up of outdoor and survival fixed blades, relaunching the Vicon Tactical Field knife, and now adding the brand-new bird and trout style knife the Drake.

Bird and Trout Style Knives

The Drake is a departure from Reiff’s usual robust fixed blade style, but it is a welcome addition to their family of outdoor adventure knives. Bird and trout style knives are compact lightweight knives that were originally designed for hunters and anglers to process small game animals and fish. The compact nature of bird and trout style knives allow for detail-oriented work when processing small animals and fish, with the bonus of being easy to carry.

While bird and trout style knives, may have originally been designed for hunters and anglers these compact fixed blades make excellent utility knives both around camp and for everyday use.
