This material may do a great job of sealing pouches, retaining backpack straps, and attaching morale patches, but there’s one thing it’s not so good at: staying quiet. Everyone knows the distinct scratching noise of Velcro being peeled off, and it’s a dead giveaway if you’re trying to be as silent as possible.
