The PD35 TAC features sturdy construction, strong waterproofing, and an intense 1,000-lumen output. It toggles between two settings: tactical and outdoor. The tactical setting uses only the tail-cap switch for power and three-way mode selection. The side switch does nothing in tactical mode, which seems like a waste, though presumably it's setup this way to minimize inadvertent activation. Outdoor setting provides access to more functions, with the tail cap serving as an on/off toggle, and the side button switching between six modes. This light is quite good across the board.

Pros: Powerful light output, Disorienting turbo strobe

Cons: Side switch functionality is limited. Batteries not included
